Our Museum would have not been possible without the generous donations and volunteer work from our Docents and staff.
Below are several ways how you can help the museum.
The Museum can make excellent use of any donation, large or small. Because our work is performed by volunteers, every contributed dollar goes a long way. Your support is an important part of our financial plan. All donations are tax deductible.
Friends of the Logging Museum is essentially a volunteer organization. Most elements of museum planning and operations are conducted by our dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers. Docents and committee members are always needed to help carry out our day-to-day operations, as well as to work on special projects.
Friends of the Logging Museum (FLM) was formed in 1993 and incorporated in 1994 as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Membership in Friends of the Logging Museum entitles you to receive our bi-annual newsletter, invitations to special events, and the opportunity to help preserve the history of logging and lumbering in the Sierra Nevada mountains.
Planned Giving refers to the process of making a revocable or irrevocable charitable gift of estate assets (which include bequests) to a nonprofit organization such as Friends of the Logging Museum. Planned Giving addresses an individual’s dreams, what he or she wishes they could do for a charity that means something to them.
